Greg Devonshire started cooking for his friends in high school. As a college student at OU he began working at a small BBQ joint and fell in love with the industry. Classically trained as a chef and hardened in the BBQ Pits in Lockhart, Tx (The BBQ capital of Texas) - he and his wife purchased a small joint -Milt's Pit BBQ- in Kyle, Tx. Outgrowing their Kyle location, they decided to relocate to Live Oak.

Today's Milt's Pit BBQ is their ultimate vision. Traditional service, Central Texas style smoked meats, homemade sides and "Pour your own" beer - A true BBQ experience.
