Greg Devonshire’s love for food started in high school when started cooking for his friends. As a college student, he began working at a small BBQ joint and fell in love with the restaurant industry. Early in his career he trained as a chef and ultimately learned the craft of Texas BBQ at one of the top joints in the state - Kreuz Market. In 2014 He and his wife purchased a small joint in Kyle, Tx called Milt’s Pit BBQ. Outgrowing their Kyle location, they decided to relocate to Live Oak.

Today's Milt's Pit BBQ is their ultimate vision. Traditional service, Central Texas style smoked meats, homemade sides and "Pour your own" beer - A true BBQ experience. 

Milt's has been featured on KVUE as one of the top 5 joints in Central Texas and featured as the #1 spot to refill after tubing! (Austin Eater)
